Our Approach To Wood Sourcing
We source our wood through trusted relationships with arborists, private landowners, and fellow woodworkers. In keeping with our values, we do not harvest living trees for the purpose of production. Instead, we work with wood that would otherwise go to waste — often from trees removed due to encroachment, utility line clearing, or storm damage.
Many of these trees were once bound for the landfill. At Nahele Carvings, we give them new life — honoring their story by transforming them into enduring works of art.
