Our Work Process

Each piece begins with the wood itself — locally sourced and selected for its unique character. We study the grain carefully, matching it to the design it will hold. Once aligned, the slab is marked with cut lines and sawn into blanks.

These blanks are then dried in our vacuum kiln — a gentle, efficient process that preserves stability while reducing moisture. After drying, each piece is flattened, trimmed to dimension, and prepared for carving.

Carving is done using CNC technology, powered by solar energy. The freshly carved areas are hand-finished with to bring out contrast and depth. Finally, every surface is sanded and sealed with up to seven coats of finish creating a soft sheen that feels as natural as the wood itself.
